Many Worlds™ Academy is offering an exciting after-school program for Pinehurst students, perfect for beginners with no prior experience. Through fun, hands-on learning, you’ll explore 3D art creation and VR development. This is a two part program, suitable for years 7 -13. Starting with the fundamentals of 3D modelling using the industry-standard 3D modelling tool Autodesk Maya, and finishes with the fundamentals of developing an immersive VR application using the Unity game engine. This course will give you the technical knowledge you need to begin your creative journey building your own VR experiences.

Time:Wednesdays or Thursdays (4pm - 5pm)

Class sizes are limited, and enrolment will need to be confirmed by our team. Pinehurst XR Club members will receive priority placement. If the time slots do not suit your schedule, please let us know your preferred time and we will advise if we can accommodate you.
Hardware requirements:
- A laptop capable of running games like Fortnite
- A three-button mouse (for 3D navigation)
- A VR headset is not required

Software Requirement:
Autodesk Maya will need to be pre-installed but is available to Pinehurst students at no cost. Unity Engine will need to be pre-installed but can be downloaded for free from Unity. An installation guide will be provided.
